There is nothing more fun as a photographer than being an accomplice in the planning of a wedding proposal.
A groom in love is capable of doing anything when it comes to planning the most desired moment of his life: asking the woman he loves to marry him.
As a groom it is not an easy task, because there are always the nerves and the pressure to make the bride be impressed and the most important thing: to say yes.
Planning the place where the action will take place, getting flowers, or drinks, or renting a tour, or of course getting the photographer to capture that important moment is something that can become a challenge.
That's why here are some tips that might be useful if you are looking to do an engagement shoot in Huatulco:
Two heads are better than one. If you are planning to propose to your girlfriend I advise you to share all the details of your master plan with your chosen photographer, who will surely (at least I am) be happy to help.
Usually the photographer will be someone local who knows not only the locations that can be useful to you, but will certainly know other reliable service providers who can provide you with everything you need, such as yacht charter, romantic dinner arrangements, tour rental, etc.
The best time is undoubtedly at sunset, for several reasons.
Firstly, the sunset is the most romantic time of the day, let's be honest, who doesn't get emotional when watching a sunset, exactly, no one is spared from this incredible natural phenomenon that makes us reflective and at the same time gives us peace of mind.
Secondly, the light will be perfect for photographs and the temperature will be more pleasant than during the day.
Don't leave everything to the last minute, start planning at least a month in advance.
This is for several reasons, the first is that you want to have the photographer and service providers of your choice at your disposal. If you leave it to the last minute you may not find any dates available and have to make do with what you can find.
Another reason is that the better you formulate your plan and share it with your partners, the more likely it is that your idea will be successfully executed.
I have heard the voice of some brides and grooms crack at the exact moment when they kneel down and pronounce the big question, this is totally understandable, we are human, we have fears and doubts in every decision we make.
However, I can guarantee that if there is love and good reasons to be together between the couple, she (or he) will surely say yes, so take heart! Relax, trust the plan, and give it your best shot.
